USB Drive won't mount under Suse 9.1

Received this error message when I plugged in my new Kingston 128MB USB Drive in my Suse 9.1 laptop:
"Could not enter folder /media/usb-storage-07340330088E:0:0:0p1"
It appears the error is with the latest version of the Suse hotplug RPM.

I had to manually upgrade to the latest version (rpm -Uvh hotplug-0.44.32.22.noarch.rpm) and then manually downgrade it to get it working again (rpm -Uvh --force hotplug-0.44.32.noarch.rpm)

Suse has an article on USB device hotplug errors with Suse 9.1, and some suggestions on workarounds if downgrading your hotplug rpm is not an option for you.

After downgrading hotplug, mine is working fine now.

There is some interesting reading available at linuxquestions.org on SuSE 9.1 USB Flash Drive and Suse 9.1 - usb memory key problem

It appears that the latest online update has updated the hotplug package again, and normal USB driver performance has resumed. I will try to track down the relevant changelogs, and update the listings here.
